About the Course
This one day course focuses on emergency care for adults, looking at CPR and emergency first aid skills. The course will provide a person ‘first on the scene’ with the basic knowledge to providing life saving actions.
Candidates will learn skills in a sequence that will be used in a life threatening emergency and also follow the same priorities of care as all professional emergency responders.
This qualification is valid for three years making it suitable for all industries and enabling you to meet HSE requirements.
The course comprises of practical and and theoretical classroom work, including practical assessment of CPR and first aid where you will be required to kneel on the floor.
