About the Course

This comprehensive blended course is delivered by 6 hours of flexible pre learning via an online portal and a 2 day practical course. It covers a wide range of first aid emergencies; enabling all participants to deal with emergency situations with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way. The qualification is ideal for those already working, or preparing to work within industry wishing to become a qualified first aider in the workplace meeting the statutory HSE requirements for the employer . The course focuses on emergency care and first aid for those who become sick or injured at work.

This blended course includes course materials, expert tutoring and practical scenarios. Each delegate will receive a colourful comprehensive manual and a certificate that will be valid for 3 years.

Assessment: 

You will be required to successfully complete a short multiple choice paper and will be assessed on your practical skills to qualify for your certificate.
This First Aid at Work has a mix of theory and practical elements. You will be required to kneel on the floor for some of the practical elements.

  • Students should be aware that they must attend all sessions to be eligible for assessment.
  • Students must be physically able to carry out the practical assessments detailed in the course content to achieve the course certificate.
