About the Course
Perfect for nannies, child minders, nursery workers and those working within a team in Early years. This course is specifically aimed at newly qualified level 2 or 3 early years childcare staff.
Those working alone on the compulsory Ofsted Register must take the full blended paediatric first aid course (12hrs).
This 6 hour first aid Paediatric first aid course is in line with the statutory framework for the EARLY YEARS FOUNDATION STAGE (EYFS) and meets the requirements of Ofsted.

The course delivers the knowledge skills and confidence needed to deal with an emergency involving Adult/Child/Infant.
The Department of Education requires all newly qualified level two and three child carers to have either an emergency paediatric first aid or full paediatric first aid certificate.
It remains a legal requirement for at least one person with a valid 12 hour paediatric first aid certificate to be available at all times within a professional child care setting,
Millies mark requires you to have staff trained to the 12 hour full paediatric standard.
